Dog has been barking outside for 2 hours now, I have a very miserable baby and supposed to be moving house tomorrow. Any suggestions before I go and start kicking doors in? Police & rspca both not interested. Sensible suggestions please, as quite frankly I'm not in the mood.

It's one of a row of 4 houses, not sure which, and don't really want to go banging on doors as I'll likely get stabbed round here (hence the moving!)

I will throw my suggestion out the window then. Maybe try playing some calming sleep music to try mask some of the barking + relax them. I have used apps on my phone and its helped me sleep.

Your moving tomrrow, how is this an issue now. Next time try talking to the council, but you'll need logs and recordings.

Was an issue due to lack of sleep while driving and the nightmare of moving furniture with a grouchy baby, solved (ish) by sleeping on the floor in the living room. Yay.

We've had extensive problems with our neighbours, some of which was their dogs (they've gone through about 6 in the 7 or so years we've been there, most of them killing one another or attacking people and being put down).

When we first moved in, the police (or rather a receptionist of some sort?) seriously suggested we poison it, and i quote "no one would know."

So there's that....

LOL OP!

You start a thread about a barking dog but your moving house?! Unless your moving to a house in the same street why / how is this an issue?
