I've got the following selected to use in a new build I plan to sell on straight away, can anyone spot any flaws or improvements (that don't break the bank) to which I have missed?

You will DEFINITELY want a modular PSU in that Prodigy, especially if you are going to be routing WC tubing around as well. There isn't much space to play with. You might also want to consider using angled fittings to save space and route the tubing tighter.

And I assume that 240 rad is to be mounted externally?

Also you will only need 10 barbs as the D5 has barbs on the front plate already.

Can't beat faster ram, might get some of that for myself too. I was told that its almost impossible to use a modular psu with this case as it doesn't have room for the connectors. Unless you know of one which will?

Cheers fellas

Most PSU's are either 150MM or 160MM deep, and modular PSU's will also have the power connectors protruding as you say.

However there are some... I know this one will fit (140MM depth), but its a 500W...

YOUR BASKET
1 x Silverstone Strider Plus 500W Modular '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply (SST-ST50F-P) £67.99

There is also a 600W Modular variation of the Silverstone Strider which is 140MM deep and will fit (SST-ST60F-PS), but the version stocked on OcUK (SST-ST60F-P) is 160MM deep and will not.

If the PSU is 140mm long you have enough room to hide the unused cables from a non modular PSU. All my cables are hidden fine with enough room for braided extensions too.

Fair enough :)

Was just thinking that a modular PSU might be a help in such a small space. Especially with WC tubing all around the shot as well.

But yeah, if you buy a non-modular PSU which is 140MM deep (or less) as well, you will have enough room to hide all of the un-used cables more tidily. The CX600W is 150MM deep however.

Ahhh Acme beat me to it ;) The Silverstone modular ones arrr 140mm deep so those would fit quite nciely inside a Prodigy.

You reckon 500 will be enough to run a 7970 with out issues? If so that seems a much better solution aS appearance will be a main priority for me given I plan to sell it.

Also to the person who asked the 240mm Rad will be internal, there is room if the drive bays are removed.

If your running SSD's you can put them in the side panel pocket thus removing the need for the drive bays.

500 should be find for a single card, but since you are WC'ing, you may need a bit more power.

Good idea..

I'd get 600W if i were you, gives you enough for your Loop and Overclocking then. :)
