I've started the claim off but the cars had it, i know the yard it got recovered to so i gave them a ring...its just a shell now...

Gobowen...car was found in Wrexham. From what cid said it was lucky the dozy ****ers didn't set fire to someones house where they burnt it.
 
I would have thought a diesel would have been the best insurance against car crime of this sort for the following reasons

1. Joy riding a diesel?
2. A diesel starting at night is so loud youll hear it hours before the event

What makes me laugh is that lately its been getting worse to start...the injector seals needed doing. How is it if i want to go to work i have to spend ages winding it over, someone nicks it...off it goes no probs!!!

Didn't get told exactly where it was dumped but cid said it was a few streets away from the town centre in a residential area?, as i posted earlier it seems it was lucky someones house didn't go up as it was down a really narrow street...
 
I've met two people who've had cars taken by joy riders. One had a diesel Montego, the other had a Reliant Robin.

Based on that sample Joy Riders seem like a highly retarded bunch.

They stole the stereo out of my wifes car when they abandoned that, forgot to take the wiring for it...stole her handbag out of the house, nicked her purse with about £15/£20 cash in it...dumped the bag with £115 worth of M&S vouchers still in it. It wouldn't of suprised me if they'd of decided to do hand print painting in the house after they broke in!!!
