Official OcUK car club?

Hi guys,

Just had an idea go through my head, a rare occurance so I need to write this down!

I have been looking at car events for the upcoming year and found that most of the ones I am interested in; Japfest, JAE etc have spaces for car stands.

Maybe OcUK should have stands at events like? I know certain events limit the type of cars e.g. japfest would be jap cars only durr.

I have no idea how to execute this but it sounds like a good idea to me

Wouldn't criteria number 1 be to be a car club, not a generic forum?

Well I guess so mate but the idea is quite a lot of members here are enthusiastic about cars and it is refreshing from one make/model only clubs on the rest of the internet.

I would say "OCUK Motors" is already a club. Get some banners, flags etc, and reserve spaces at events. Simples

I think it'd be a good change from a single car stand; also our ability to be narcissistic, obnoxious ***** to each other will but on a show.

Would it be just 'OcUK' or an actual stand for with OcUK? Would that word inside an event like that, I suppose there won't be much competition for buying Laptops and Tablets

OCUK could brand it by providing a stand etc I guess. Not a bad call in fairness Nath.
Would make a change from single make/model clubs you usually see at shows.

I've seen car clubs that aren't tied to one particular make before, though usually they're the local ~~ricer~~ "cruising" lot.

i think that'd be a really good idea, only other mixed car clubs i tend to see around are the likes of this treat for the eyes...

Also....we need to ensure we bring along the OCUK mechanic with us, in case of any car issues....
