Money laundering

FYI everything was left to us in the will, we have already dealt with all of that side of things hence it being untouched for a week. So it is part of the inheritance to us.
I apologise, after having a problem with family members rummaging through my Father's estate I jumped to that conclusion.

As for a solution to your problem perhaps just place the money in the sink with some warm soapy water then let it dry? I wouldn't worry about it too much, money is always filthy! :)

in a week? im in the middle of settling my partners Mums estate and her Nans,

your telling me you sorted the will and executors and executors account, consolidated all his assets, and now need to just sort this cash out and then split it?

this of course doesn't take into account any application for probate, or evaluation of his property(s) and any sale of items/property

not that its any of my business, but if you just split the cash that's around and bank accounts without settling his estate, then beware matey.

and sorry, I am sorry to hear about your loss, its been a tough winter for a lot of familys

Why are you all so suspicious, untrusting, and negative?

The man has said it's sorted, it's sorted. Some estates are quite simple, some complex.

None of you have any idea, and I think you should all stop trying to find fault.

It's utterly shameful, pathetic unwarranted and crass.

He didn't have much, not enough for probate and he specifically said in his will where he wanted it all to go.

He didn't have any children of his own or a partner so no-one else is involved. All very straight forward which is very good as it's not a nice thing to have to deal with.

^^ this a bit. I'm not too bothered about what other people think, just wasn't sure what was best to do with the money.

Thanks for all the condolences. His funeral was today, was weird....first time I've seen butterflies this year and they were floating around his coffin all through the service. Was a nice service and this gave everyone something nice to talk about.

That's quite a symbolic co-incidence isn't it. It's good you've taken such warmth from it. Take care, all the best to your family. And do something lasting with the money. :)

Yeah it was really nice, they weren't just there for the outside bit either, they were actually inside the church with him too. Was quite beautiful in a way. Also very fitting because they appeared just as it was being said how much he loved animals and wild life.

The lady who did the service has done 4 for us in recent years and said she had never seen it before.
