And you'll need the cocaine. iPod for special music. Acapulco shirts. Get the hell off of OCUK for at least 48 hours. Blows my weekend.

Wouldn't necessarily be the best film, just one that makes you feel good and is watchable multiple times.

So I've got to go with lotr - Return of the King. :)

Very close behind would be Jurassic Park, and Stargate.

watched them that many times already though.

I really struggle to find films now that have a "re watch value". Most i just watch, think, meh, that was alright.... then never watch it again !!!
 
Total Recall (1990)

I have watched it plenty of times, and I always end up watching it I happen to catch it when it's on TV. I never get bored of it.

It's a very hard decision. Certainly in the final list would be:

Airplane
Blazing Saddles
Planes, Trains and Automobiles
Life of Brian
Blade Runner
Alien

But if I had to pick only one then it would probably be the original Star Wars. It's not the greatest film ever. But it was the first to make me go "wow" when it originally came out, and it makes me think of happy times. Just the sounds of the light sabres, space ships, etc takes me back to my youth.
