Got bangers, chicken thighs in bbq rub, mackerel rubbed in olive oil salt and pepper and stuffed with horse radish and bay leaves and then soaked sweetcorn in husks ready to go over the coals, little bit of salad coleslaw and some bread.

And beers so yes I'm having a BBQ

No, but I'm sure the neighbours are considering it as they seem to jump at the chance the second the sun comes out. Guess I'll be shutting all the windows again so I don't have to put up with the stink.

This, exactly this. People in this country just don't get April. They think because it's light, it's warm. But the same thing happens year after year, it gets to April, it gets lighter, they go outside for drinks and then complain it's too cold and go indoors.

Happens every bloody year. There was a guy just tonight walking round in shorts and a t-shirt saying, "it's cold!" to his gf. Yes of course it bloody is, try looking at the calendar for once.

I've been trying to embrace the sunshine in a show of strength to the weather. There are few chances to revel in good weather in this country, so when they come along you have to fully embrace them.
