Brain burn!

Does anyone else ever get a sensation of your brain being on fire? The front of my brain feels like it's on fire quite a lot lately. This doesn't make any sense seeing as there apparently no pain receptors in the brain.

I was thinking of seeing my doctor, but reckon he will he think I'm mental/imagining it?

Headaches - fine... this = odd.

Not looking for advice, I'll get an appt if it carries on. Just wondering if it's a form of headache other people get as well.

Too many Red Bull & vodkas / Jagerbombs used to do this to me which is why I try and steer clear of them.

Hrm I don't touch Red Bull but maybe it's caffeine related. I am drinking a LOT of tea lately. Good point!

Also an excellent point, might be forehead muscles. I hadn't thought of that.

Right, laying off the tea and taking some time off work at the end of the week I think - that is a start.

Yeah, eye strain and eyesight issues can often cause similar problems, but often people don't always realise. I kept straining my eyes at work and started getting aching temples and headaches.

Not sure I'd recommend the Total Recall solution ... though it probably won't be long until Vision Express start offering this service in the High Street.

Sounds like a partial seizure or brain aneurysm, both can have symptoms of burning sensations.

I'm afraid this looks a bit too close to being a medical thread, please go and see your doctor if you are worried. They shouldn't think you are making it up and it's important to be checked out, particularly for a recurring problem.
