How to control lots of fans

I plan to have 10 fans (4 radiator, 3 radiator, 3 case). The fans will be Corsair SP120 High performace 120mm. Can I put multiple fans on a single fan knob? i was thinking of using the BitFenix Recon.

I would use something that has got a lot of wattage per channel personally, using 2 fans per channel on a 6 fan controller would be my idea of using so many fans.

Would that be awkward to use? It would mean I woulnd not be able to control each rad individually. What would be enough wattage per channel, 10W?

This would be ideal, you could always wire up your fans onto one channel, what I mean is,cut the plugs off all 3 fans and wire them up to one 3 pin lead, that way all the fans will be in one channel and all spin the same speed.

I have the Phantom 630 and it has what I'd say is the prototype of "Grid" already on it, and it's just hooked up to a 3 - way switch to control them all. You could put your CPU rad fans on PWM on your mobo (if they're PWM fans), and control the GFX rad fans with the Grid controller?

That way your fans for your CPU are controlled automatically and no messing about flickin switches everytime you use a demanding program, but you can flick the switch if you want to game for a little bit and knock it off when you're done. :)

I'd wire them all up to PWM to 3 pin converters. Automatic fan control is so much nicer than fiddling with dials and knobs.

True but its nice to display the fan speeds and temps? the BitFenix Recon can be set to auto anyway.
