£1100ish spec please

I have PSU/case, need the rest...

Needs 16gb ram, 256Gb SSD, 2tb other drive and a decent 27 inch monitor. I want to run a resolution larger than 1920x1200, doesn't need huge FPS, but should be decent in games.

I will never overclock.

A quiet PC would be fantastic.

Any reason why you need 16GB of RAM?
& With that budget it may be worth waiting until Haswell is released.

Do you need an OS, and what PSU/case do you have?

I have a Lian Li mid tower case, not sure of model and a 520w corsair modular PSU. No OS needed. The 16gb is for VMware virtual machines.

Just started reading about Haswell now that you mentioned it, june isnt far off.

and you could also get a H77 or B75 Motherboard, a lot of these still have gen3, usb 3 and SATAIII and are cheaper than their Z77 counterparts.

TBH. the choice of 27" monitors on here is limited, even more so for high resolutions. So you may have to look further a field.
Apart from the one already specced, these are the other 27" monitors with high resolutions. As to how good they are, can`t really say.
