AMD 8120 Temps Are these Normal?

Just wondering is my Temps ok for idle? i was not sure some people were saying they can get there Temps at 12 C but i have no idea how, I Am using the Noctua NH-D14, At High Load playing BF3 Ultra my Temps go around 30-40 is this good? or am i meant to be getting lower temps?

They're either lying, or living in a fridge.

It's not possible to cool your CPU to below ambient temperatures with conventional cooling. You'd need a phase change system or LN2 for that.

I second the recommendation for HWMonitor though.

Or they don't know any better as they believe what their "sensor" is telling them.

Mine says 12-18 degrees but I take that as being a bad reading, the best thing is to take the BIOS reading (which will be significantly different) and calculate the offset. Most programs will let you adjust the offset (like Core Temp for example).
 
Some AMD processors (to my knowledge) have inaccurate idle temperature. Mine says 17C-30C randomly throughout the day when idling even though the room temperature is almost the same.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that AMD sensors are more reliable when the system is underload, for some reason. Not sure how accurate that was.
