Is this an appropriate use for police officers and public funds?

I wouldn't mind if that was done using tax money, its good reminder to the public that police officers are just normal people (well as normal as any other flash mob person) under the uniform.
 
Cutting police numbers.

How does that fit then? Crime was rising under Labour, so the Tories come in slash your numbers, slash your terms and conditions, a home secretary who all but hates you, if you are anything to go by they also hack at your morale.

Less money, less people, less crime?

It sounds like the stuff of fantasy, kind of like their employment figures last time round.

Not at all actually, public funds are under severe strain, that they did it in their own time is commendable.

I would object heavily if any taxpayers money went into dancing police officers.

Where does it stop?
