UEFA Champions League/Europa League 23/24/25 April *** Spoilers ***

What's the point in doing that though? The goals stood and that's that?

I was discussing the fact that Bayern haven't done something amazing no other side in europe has done that some are acting like, Barca have been trash away in europe before, was simply highlighting two of the goals were should never have stood.

Surely it isn't that crazy of a concept to do that, no?

The biggest no show for a semi final in a while?

Barca have been garbage, Bayern should've had a larger lead, playing Messi has been a disaster, Sanchez is a disaster and where the **** is David Villa?

It is really when the goals have been given.

It's 4-0 and that's that, not 1-0 or 2-0. You stated it as if they were somehow going to retrospectively removed after the game.

Titles have been won based on goals that shouldn't have stood. It doesn't take the title away from them though does it?

You could just as easily say that for every shot that hits the post "that should've been a goal".

We'd be here all day trying to decide who deserves to win based on ifs and buts, which player slipped over, which player was tying his shoelaces instead of running. You could literally go on forever. It doesn't necessarily mean that the scoreline is undeserved.

Bayern deserved that win. Their work rate was incredible, unsettled barcelona and whilst fotuitous with some decisions were well worth their lead overall.

Well it was 3-0 at the time. No i didn't don't talk rubbish, I was simply using it as a measurement of how Bayern haven't really done anything exceptional against Barca and had 2 non goals given to them.

That is a fair bit different to discussing 90 minutes of football?

No, that is a stupid comparison, these are actual goals awarded which were not legally scored, those are shots that have not gone in because they were not good enough?

I didn't mention who deserves to win or bring up any of this ifs buts and maybes about the smallest detail, it was 2 goals that shouldn't have been allowed and were and I was using it as a way to counteract a point on Bayern not setting an example on how to play Barca as this isn't the first time a team has done that to Barca.

Really hope Real go through, I think they've got a better chance against Bayern in the final and it will be more interesting with them in there rather than Borussia Dortmund.

Interesting little replay there - the second goal wasn't offside after all!

Bayern smashed them basically, you seem to be trying to argue against that fact? The 4-0 scoreline doesn't lie, there's nothing undeserved about it.

This stresses just how well Arsenal did in the away leg at Bayern.

No it doesn't, that was a game Bayern didn't care about Milan and Bayern creamed us when they tried, and put in 50% effort in the other games, both teams out shot, out possessed and outplayed us, just their lazyness in saving that extra bit of energy for important games let us back in.

Anyway, the problem I see for Barca is Messi's power in that team, when certain players are on the pitch its clear as day they'll pass to Messi in a poor position rather than anyone else in a better position. Three strikers(maybe 4) have been shown the door because Messi doesn't like not being the most important player, he either isn't fit, or isn't ready to play, yet both started AND wasn't subbed. THere is no other player in the world who wouldn't have been subbed after the first 55mins absolute maximum. Why wasn't he, manager scared to sub him. Shouldn't have started at all, neither should Pedro as he's been poo for 18 months.

Eto'o was shown the door for Messi, Ibra was shown the door for Messi, also losing some 40million Euro's on the deal more when you factor in the Eto'o cut price to get that initial deal done. No manager in the world could have seen him play and not wanted to sub him today, yet it didn't happen. If at half time he was subbed and the game ended 2-1 with a much more potent offence pushing Bayern back, it could be a different story in the second leg. Villa looks like he's leaving end of the season because of Messi issues, we've seen Messi scream on the pitch at him more than once because he shot instead of made the chance for Messi. It seems to me an unfit player demanded to be played and refused to be subbed because he wants to be the big man... I can't help but think that will become a worse issue over time, both as top strikers stop going to Barca... because whats the point, and that leaving Barca with serious problems if/when Messi picks up injuries.

Bayern, very good, and while one goal maybe should have been disallowed(it looks a lot worse than it was , the block by Muller) they should have had at least one penalty, maybe two, the Pique handball was deliberate and stopping a shot on target, he was miles from the shot, it was a clear clear penalty.

Alba should have been sent off, was already lucky to not get a yellow for trying to try Robben minutes before(when Sanchez got one, at the start of that run Alba tried to trip him clearly), he then fouled him, smacked the ball into him when he was down, then threw it in his face, frankly at least two yellow cards worth in that 20 seconds.

Muller, say it before every big Bayern game, he's freaking awesome, always in the right place, ridiculously brilliant movement, good in the air, with his feet, strength, vision, 2 goals an assist and heavily involved in Robben's goal with the block, just an outstanding player.

Lastly, Ribery and Robben seemed VERY aware that the Gotze deal was just agreed, both upped their games and worked very very hard(though both usually DO defend and track back, commentators talking **** when they say they don't, they did up their workrate defensively today though).

Nice to see Barca being unable to play within their comfort zone for once. Real Madrid look far from special too this year (but I'll reserve judgement until they play Dortmund) so it's possible it could well be an all german final, which could be very interesting.
