My breakfast has been going great but I've noticed that my lunch/dinner are inconsistent so I've decided to plan it more carefully. To that end I've come up with this:

3 main protein sources are whey, milk and eggs. Not ideal to be reliant on shakes but it doesn't seem too bad to me.

I'm quite happy with the macros, not sure on the micros. I'd love to include loads more vegetables but I find they fill me up quite easily and I struggle to eat enough anyway. So I suppose I could take a multivitamin, though as I get used to eating more food I'd rather get the nutrients from actual veggies.

What do you guys think? At 55kg, this should be enough for me to gain on for now.

How come there's no meat on there, or are you veggie? Can you swap in some pulses for a bit of variation? Mixed beans in a tomato-based casserole has a good load of both carbs and protein. I normally do mine with sausages but I do hers with Quorn sausages which work quite well :)

Yeah I'm a veggie. You're right, there's all sorts of great things I can do with beans, pulses etc. The problem is the time, equipment and skill I have :p

I used to eat quorn for dinner but I want to start moving away from processed foods.

Soya beans, are the way forward,

100g soya beans
20g mozzarella cheese
10g almonds
10g pumpkin seeds
4 boiled eggs

= one tasty evening meal.

While I'm no expert in diets at all, unless you have some crazy imbalance already with estrogen then I wouldn't worry just yet I'd have thought.

What sort of things did you eat before the gym if you don't mind me asking?

I think your carbs are high on the brown rice, unless you've worked it out uncooked. 50g of cooked brown rice i think has closer to 13g of carbs

^^ thats an uncooked weight

I would personally ditch the pasta in favour of more brown rice, or some beans or seomthing else.

Pasta is bloaty.

Looks good to me though. Stick with it for a couple of months and let us know.

Also, if you havent already, start a log, then you can get all your vids, things like this diet advise etc and keep a record of it somewhere :)

I generally at the same stuff, except I was inconsistent and ate a lot less of it. Plus there would be junk like chocolate etc in there.

The amount in the OP is the uncooked weight :)

I could switch the pasta for bread but then again that's just as bloaty :p

I've got a log but I haven't updated in a while as I haven't made any 'progress' as such, as I'm still working on getting my form perfect.
