Ok Guys I renovated my bathroom last year.

Before, during and after pics.

The last tiler was crap. Totally crap and vowed I'd never use him to tile ever again. So whilst I did the rip out etc I didn't do any tiling this time.:D

Ply down and Wedi pre formed shower base.
Big Glass shower panel fitted and fixed in.

Had to raise the floor due to deflection spent all day adding noggins that only made about 2mm difference so had to go a bit more hardcore on its ass

After knocking a load of plaster of the outside we needed to skim an extra wall

Floor down.

18mm ply, Wedi insulation board. SLC, UFH more SLC

Underfloor heating is defo for the win

Matt

That looks gorgeous, you must be chuffed to bits!

(Doing mine next week, design isn't nearly as flash as yours though).

Looks amazing. Would annoy me that the patterned tiles aren't central in the shower area though!

Couple of q's: what are the floor tiles and is your under floor heating electric or connected to the heating system?

Also, what's driving that shower?

Yep Kinda got to get over the OCD thing.
The reason is that as its a preformed shower floor the waste is in a fixed position. Directly over a damn joist. So had to move it over. Was Gutted at the time. But I thought about putting in some glass shelves to make it central again just still thinking about it.

Floor tiles are just normal floor tiles from CTD. (OH uncle is a manager so we get things a bit cheaper)
Its electric UFH Again another family member works for TYCO so cheap UFH again.

Shower is a Mira powered by our combi boiler.

The Bath has almost drowned 2 of us so far. 1st time the wife used it she slid to the bottom. I almost pee'd myself laughing as I heard the splashing then did the same thing myself. It's a nice big bath.

Splashed out too much on the taps though Crosswater Square waterfall thingy, Both bath and sink. I've put a whole suite in a house I'm renovating for half of what we paid for those taps.
But it my house.

All completed with sonos and some Kef bathroom speakers

Very very nice. I was surprised you fitted the massive piece of glass before anything else. :D

Have you done anything special to the door or doorframe as it is rather close to the opening of the shower.

Nothing special the shower is 1200x1000 plus the bit extra so only a few drops actually splash outside the shower area.

What door did you put on?
After 6 months of having an old duvet hanging up we put up a B&Q oak veneer door Like the rest of the house

Hope I don't wake up one morning hating Oak.

Nice, :)

Our ensuite is a similar size and we are looking to completely re-fit it in a couple of months.
Do you mind me asking what you paid for your new bathroom?

Also what power(watt) underfloor heating did you get?
