Hi guys,

As per title, Steam have put a Free Weekend Game in my library and I don't want it there, is there anyway for me to remove the entry at all, preferably a permanent option?

Thanks :)

All you have to do is wait until the free weekend period is over and it will be removed automatically.

Thanks, I've seen them come and go before, but I don't want this option to even appear, I know the games I'm interested in and don't want random things appearing in my library? Is it possible do you think?

Cheers :)

I had one last week, can`t remember what and now I have Forge. I just ignore them as they go away on their own.
Also noticed i have Company of Heroes(New Steam Version) and Opposing Fronts, added to my list of games, neither of which I will ever play.

That's because the old servers will be coming down, making the game unplayable.

There are quite a few games that use DRM like that though, I know whenever the Relic servers go funny I can never play CoH single player.

Sorry, should also have mentioned, I do not play Strategy games.

I bought the THQ bundle at Christmas. Out of the 20+ games these are the only ones I play.
Darksiders 1&2.
Fear 1,2&3, plus the DLCs.
Homefront.
Metro 2033.
Red Faction, RF 2 and Armageddon.

The other games that came in the bundle I will never play.
Company of Heroes.
Nexuiz+ Stupid Mode.
Saints Row 2&3.
Supreme Commander and Forged Alliance.
Titan Quest+Immortal Throne.
Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War 2+Retribution+Chaos Rising+Space Marine.

But it was worth £19 for the games I do play.

Just click on the "All Games" drop-down in your library, choose "Installed".

Games you don't have installed won't show up.

If you use categories you could just assign it to zzzloadofcrap or something, and have that category collapsed in the tree

I use categories. "Favourites, Never Play, Actually Play and then a list of uninstalled games". Never play is all the crap you get in bundles. This way my uninstalled games are actually games I might install and play or it at least helps me find the newly bought games.

Really can't see why anyone would care? I barely even look at my steam library. Pretty much anything I want to launch is on the quick-launch bar as 'Recent' if I right click the steam icon on the toolbar. Plus you've got that many options for categories and filters you never actually have to look at the random new ones that pop up.
