Couldn't find this posted elsewhere. Sorry if old.

All 8 Games coming exclusively to PS3 in June 2013 - North America.

Cannot find any info on a UK/EU release. Being from the UK i hope to high hell they release this package in the rest of the world....

Contains all 8 games and more:
Metal Gear Solid
Metal Gear Solid 2: HD Edition
Metal Gear Solid 3: HD Edition (which includes the original MSX versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2)
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD Edition
Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions
Metal Gear Solid 4: Trophy Edition.
In addition, the collection will also include two Ashley Wood digital graphic novels.

So excited, haven't played 1 or 2 in years!

Liked the game but wasn't too keen on the missle backflips n new voice actor for grey fox.
 
I used to think an MGS1 HD remake would be superb, but now im not so sure, after all these years.... i think i like the minecraft textures =)

Still looking for some info on an EU release date, Konami/various news websites big AND small have decided to ignore my e-mails/facebook posts. cool :(
 
It'll just be the original MGS, if it was an improved version they'd have been making a fuss about it. It'd require a lot of work though.

And yeah, Twin Snakes can go to hell.

I could be wrong here, but I guess it'll just be the same version that's available on the PS Store with the smoothing and upscale options like the rest of the PSone games. Nice to see the VR missions will be included in this edition though :D

As for Portable Ops, Acid, and Twin Snakes not being in the package, I have them on the respective platforms so not too fussed about them not being included.
 
The feeling you get the first time you play MGS4 and get to Shadow Moses, imagine playing the whole of MGS1 like that..... now i'm sad because it'll probably never happen :(
