I have a bit of a dilema guys..

I started watching an item on a popular action site, its the same GPU as I have an EVGA GTX 570 2.5Gb, just to price up SLI.

I bought mine for £110 secondhamd and thought it would be the same price..

To my shock, I checked it today (with 4 hours to go) and the bid was enough to buy a brand new 7870XT... A card a lot better than the 570...

So the question, I should I sell mine hoping to achieve a similar price and get a new card (or even make a little cash).. Or do I stick?

I am really happy with my cards performance, though the fan is a little loud..

I sold my 5870 hoping that I would get what they have been going for in the auction site which was circa £150, ended up getting £80 :( but I ended up adding to the profit and ordered a HD7870XT :)
Maybe I was just unlucky with my timing or maybe it was because that was my first time selling on Ebay and havent been active since 2010 :p

As someone who sold my GTX 570 and bought an HD 7870XT I say go for it.

Your card is unlikely to sell for as much as a new HD 7870XT (mine didn't, and it was an overclocked Gainward Phantom edition), but the price difference is pretty small for the performance increase, plus the AMD comes with free games.

my Vapor X sold the day before your XFX, i got £123inc which =£96.19 after RMSD and fees.. like yourself i was hoping for more
so dont forget about them fees OP.. they'l shaft you every time :(

I would sell and buy something more power efficient and cooler running, but its up to you

Was thinking about a 7850.. :) or 660. Not bothered about super graphics only.at 1080p..

By the way the auction I was watching ended around a new 7950 price (before fee's).. mad!

the 7850 beats a 590(oops 570) once its overclocked,i don't suffer with any game at 1920x1080

tbh, maybe very slightly with fc3 but nothing to cry about
