Made me chuckle today.

Commentator: "That's the unmistakable frame of Robert Gesink"

ten seconds or so pass.

Commentator: little chortle "I believe that's Steven Kruijswijk"

froome looks like he is auditioning for a role as skeletor.

good ride by him. i could have sworn the TT today was meant to be on skysports3 but cant see it

In all fairness the boy hasn't done too badly with a lack of attacking ability... :p

As you say though a great performance from Froome though, hopefully he can build on that and win the race.

Undoubtedly, but I think Contador's decision to ride the Tour this year has forced Sky's hand. Were Contador to find his form for July, I don't think Wiggo could put enough into him in the TTs to make up for the mountains.

True, this year's Tour is rather weighted in favour of the mountain stages and that's something that Wiggins just isn't so good at. A bit of a shame that it's unlikely that the defending yellow jersey holder won't really be trying to defend it as would normally be the case but it's a practical decision to play to the strengths of the riders they've got.

Congratulations to Froome on his overall win, 34 seconds down on Tony Martin in the TT but ahead of all his challengers so he extended his lead.
