*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S4 ACCESSORIES Thread ***

Samsung have got to joking with some of this stuff. The scales are cringeworthy.

They should stop investing in this pointless tat and finance some customer services that are actually useful rather than the current worthless bunch of tards that are in place now.

I hadn't thought about this, but presumably the phone comes with the headset right?

Think I'll also be interested in the HRM.

As for cases, the pouch is quite nice and I think the S view cover looks pretty sweet. But I think I need more protection and the Protective Cover Plus looks a bit lame.

I quite like the look of the Sigen Slim Armor in black, available from the rainforest.

What thin case should I be buying? Looking for any superior alternatives to the Case Mate Barely There really. I like the official flip cover but as it doesn't protect the sides and costs more than the Barely There I'm really not sure about it.

I have ordered mine through EE so it should come with a free accessory pack (flip cover, SD card and car charger). I am guessing these will not be Samsung original (does anyone know ?).

I will wait and see what they are like before jumping in and buying a better case in advance BUT I am interested in a screen protector.

Has anyone seen any they can recommend ?

After hearing about the S-View case not closing properly, I've decided on the Spigen leather flip case (dark brown). The stand conversion feature really sold me on it.

Like all Samsung flip cases I've used so far, they will close properly once the folding part has worn a bit :)

I find the same with the OEM Samsung standard cover. It is quite stiff and doesn't close as well I would expect. I was in fact considering the S-View case thinking that it would be like the iPad case (as it switches the screen off) which magnetically snaps closed.

I now assume that is not the case.

The S View case does turn the screen off magnetically but does not snap closed.

I don't know about their flip case, but I'm in the process of returning their Bounce case for the S4 because it's the worst case I've ever seen. It comes off at the slightest pressure, is slippier than the material of the phone, and it has sharp square edges on the holes for the buttons that make it uncomfortable to hold and also restrict access to the power button.

Can anyone recommend a good S4 case that is not a flip case? Cases with a left side hinge are no use to me because I'm left-handed and can't hold the phone properly with it open.

Just testing the supplied earphones, and have to be honest, they sound very tinny compared to the S2 earphones. I've got beats audio on my S2 and they sound crap, thought they were supposed to be good....maybe not unless I got a duff pair lol. Anyone in a similar situation?
