Les Miserables?

Is it any good - the 2012 one with Hugh Jackman in.

I've never wanted to watch one EVER but after seeing an interview with him on Sky Arts it triggered an interest.

Do you have to be a bit musical buff to know what's going on?

I never had an interest in Les Miserables and I've now watched the film 5 times and think it's the best thing I've ever seen.

I was like you, never seen a musical and nor did I want to.

Was roped into going to cinema with the missus but I actually enjoyed it. Watched it once more at home too

Just bear in mind it's a full on musical and they start singing right off the bat. My gf thought I was going to walk out in the first minute.

In the Hugh Jackman interview he said there was something like 100 lines spoken in the entire film... all the rest are songs!

I watch some odd films and i am curious about this one as none of it was mimed unlike past versions apparently.

How many car chases are there? If it's less than 3 I wouldn't bother with it.

This is what I'm questioning - I've NEVER wanted to watch anything like this!

Got a feeling it won't compete with my fave film of all time - Sin City!
