20 years ago today Tim Berners Lee put the World Wide Web into the public domain. I fully intend to celebrate this fine day by using the Internet for what it was made for (porn, right?)

It's amazing how far this series of connected tubes has come and how much it has changed the world in so many different ways. I miss a lot of websites that no longer exist anymore (no, not you Geocities) and remember the good old days of scoring free dial up with Freeserve discs from magazines.

Reminisce with me over this fantastic creation, people!!

Happy Birthday, Internet.

You didn't like geocities? I loved the epileptic inducing sites! Also I found that the content was a lot more 'original' before everyone started whoring themselves to google.
