monster hunter wii u

Slowly getting back into this, finding controls slightly odd with the bigger controller, although not sure why. When I played MH3 on the Wii it was with the nunchuck so have been putting it down to that. Was planning on completing the single player game before going online as that's what I did on the wii.

im yet to finish the sp i think im up to 4ish. tbh this game really shines in multi player and as soon as i partied up with some ocuk peeps i have not been back to sp :D
tell i lie i go back for blue mushrooms and honey.
add me if you like for when you fancy trying mp out my nnid is stellasuppa.

ZildUK here I think, might jump on tonight and give it a blast. Pretty sure I'm pants at the moment though, certainly not getting into the dodge and move actions like I did in the last one, probably just needs time.

i have just done a search for you on miiverse and cannot find you. im not sure if you have friends requests on or off or if your nintendo network id is different to what you quoted ?

i have tried a few different weapons i prefer the dual blades and long sword but i do have a set of good bag pipes to heal with :)

found and added you, think it doesn't like the capitals at the end so my NNID would be Zilduk

i have added you also i found you straight away in lower case :)
i am up to HR 4 but the last few times ive been on have been helping fellow hunters so we can crack on with some of the urgent quests.

with me being new to the series im learning from scratch so im i bit of a noob anyway.

finally got up to g rank last night:D infact i managed to do the urgent quest to open up HR7 as well its probably the hardest mission i have tried.there is two brachydios and even with having four players with good load outs we still struggled.

tbh i am glad i decided to buy monster hunter it has re ignited my love for games and my pc and ps3 have not had a look in two months, also i have not put this amount of time in such space since dark souls.
i hope nintendo bring mh4 out on the wii u.

I was thinking of buying a wii u specially for this game?I've never play a mh game before but the mechanics of the game sound appealing to me,any advice?

Grats on g rank!

Not fired up my Wii u in a while, been busy with other stuff :(

hopefully i will catch you soon playing with randoms can be a pita especially if your going for capturing monsters:)i have not been on as much due to ps+. demon souls was free yesterday and even with me completing multiple times i still have the urge to jump back on it.

if your thinking about getting a wii u look into the games that are coming out. a bit of reseach might make it easier decision. usually i would not recommend bying a console for one game but since i have had mhu3 no other disc has been in my wii u:D

my opinion is that there are few must have titles and i can see a lot of good games all coming out at once e3 will certainly show some triple A games eg mario 3d mario kart and more. one title i hope too see news on is bayonetta 2:D

if you have access to a 3ds there is a demo on the store its not a particular good at showing you the ropes and there is no online on it and thats where mhu3 really shines.
there is anothere way i suppose by trying the mh tri on wiii however it wont be
in hd you use wii mote & nunchuck.
the wii u version is a HD remake of tri with loads of new bosses weapons and collectibles also with a recent update you can play the total game just on the gamepad. sometimes when a friend pops round i free up the tv so he can go on gt5 on ps3.

the game mechanics are similar to the souls games in the way you have free move and then lock on this comes in handy. in the narrow areas i dont bother locking on to the boss at all so i dont get trapped up against a cliff face.
mh3u is a massive game and with plenty to do will keep me going for quite awhile maybe check some youtube videos out that will show you a better representation of the game more so than the demo:)
