I have ordered a powered car mount (iBolt Xprodock) which I'm waiting on which I will review once it arrives.

looks like an interesting dock - will be waiting to hear how you get on

Just got my S View cover through and it looks good - much better than the old note cover i've got where the sides of the front flap came away pretty quickly - just need the damn phone now!

As the air view cover has a cutout, is the camera lens blocked if you put the case all the way back? If not, does the picture quality get affected at all with the cutout cover material (if there is any)?

The cover blocks the front lens. The back of the cover is actually a phone back and the rear camera is blocked if you fold the cover all the way back over it.

If the notification appears on the top left of you screen then you should see it through the cut out window (plastic material).

just been having a play with the camera modes on mine and the lens on the back and the sview does just about line up, doesn't seem to make too much difference to the photos either...

I've got a pair of the Sony XBA2iP which sound lovely, but the volume doesn't work Also have some MH1Cs which worked perfectly with my note but don't do anything with the s4... The official ones seem alright, but the silicon earbuds are horrible, swapped them for one of the old ones and they seem pretty decent.

there no wireless charging built in so the s view case won't work with it - the official wireless back seems to be a complete replacement for the normal one, but there are 3rd part additions for the s3 and note2 that are a small pannel that sits between the battery and case, that should work for the s4 so might have to try one out at some point

It will make a difference if the s view window is dirty. I'll use it without the lens being covered.

My Zenis S3 desktop charger connects but it is quite unstable, very worried it might break the micro usb on the phone.

Can anyone recommend a desktop dock with a good fit ?

I'm shocked at how much these covers cost I wouldn't pay more than a £10 for one personally.

I've looked at them having seen mention in a thread on xda, I didn't save a link as I don't own an s4 but I just looked again and saw a wood effect window case for $13 iirc.

Under no circumstances buy a Spigen case. They're terrible.

That would be an unofficial case, probably of shocking quality.

Most people say they are ok. Better than most of the cheap crap on ebay anyway!
