I doubt that, doesnt even show temps? nicely blurred out cpu-z banner?

might be under ln2 for all we know

ill believe it when I have one in my hands until then ill take it with a large pinch of salt

2.56v is definatly under ln2

I can't see intel jeopardizing future x79 sales with haswell if it does clock that high,i hope im wrong but you cant tell until final retail release

it all depends how hot they get at 1.2v

I personally doubt that most Haswells will get to that. It might overclock better than Ivy but I don't think it would be a monster, would make even less reason to upgrade CPUs now a days.

I was thinking the same, IB-E is expected to clock better than IB due to the soldered heat spreader but its not like its going to be any better than naked IB is it.

I know that hex>quad for the future, but right now its easy for an enthusiast to choose an overclocked 3930K over a slightly higher clocked 3770K, it might not be as easy to pick a 4930K over a 4770K if there's ~ a GHz in it lol.

Could just be idle. Would be silly for Intel to ruin the enthusiast line for them. I think we'll just see average clocks go up, more than like 4.9 to be the avg with a few hitting 5, people under water with good chips 5.1/5.2

Im on 5ghz now 24/7 on my 2600k, it would have to be a huge difference for me to even consider changing to the haswell. I aint changed as yet because theres just no benefits for me for gaming.

I just want a cool running chip, if they dont skimp on the heatsink/case this time and with the focus on low power consumption hopefully us heat minded will be able to hit 5Ghz.

The 1.2v is not a photoshop at all. Just CPU-Z reading a different voltage other than Core. Probably System agent!!
