Is what I do in my garden my business?

NO no no, nothing nudist really.

Was nice and sunny earlier, and so I decided to have a sunbathe in my garden.

Had my top, socks and shoes off but kept my shorts on and just lay there on the grass.

Neighbour shouts over the fence "there are children around here but some clothes on!" in a really angry way as if my junk was just on show.

My response was to tell the neighbor its my garden I'll do what I want.

Neighbor then threatens to call Child protection services and police, which I replied was "fine" he then proceeded to take pictures of me from his window.

I ignored this and eventually he stopped.

Now my garden is surrounded with panel fencing on all sides, you cannot see through the fence and the only way a kid is gonna see in the garden is if they are at an elevated height, even if they did then all they will see is my bare torso.

Surely my neighbour has no grounds to complain about what I was doing? If I was walking around naked then yea ok I could see their point.

Surely he's invading your privacy by taking photos of you in your garden...?

As long as you're not doing anything illegal in there there's surely no problem. If you were naked and people could see, that's probably not great, but you could walk around town without a tshirt on and be fine (I think!), so the garden's definitely not an issue.

Technically there is no law against being nude in public, techincally. However you will never be allowed to do it. So behind fences and shorts. Tell him to go do one.
Have you thought maybe he was offended to look at you, get down the gym. lol :)

In fact if hes taking pictures of you get it nipped in the bud right now, and phone the police and make a complaint.

haha possible. He isn't no spring chicken himself.

I work outside a lot but always have to have fire retardant clothing on so im pretty pale right now. perhaps I hurt his eyes.

If he does it again then I will tell him I will report him to the police, rather give him the chance to calm down, he may have had a bad day and needed venting and me and my pasty torso were in his sights. :/

So he was offended by a topless male torso - and worried about the effect it would have on his kids?

Lets hope he never takes them to the beach, or god forbid on holiday.

Ignore him.

If anything if he repeats it you may be able to get him for harrassment, but ultimately, it's your back garden, high panelled fences, and you're wearing something that would be acceptable on a beach. Tell him to sod off.
