Yep, I spent all day in a waterpark in the Algarve in July 1987 when I was 21. I enjoyed myself so much I forgot to apply suncream frequently & ended up being so badly sunburnt on my back, I had to sleep on my front for the best part of a week.
Reminds me of a holiday on a houseboat I was on as a teenager and lay on the roof for hours. My shins actually turned green I was burnt so badly

I managed to get sunburn on a rainy day at download festival, not fun... 
Popped my ankle out of the socket and knackered my tendons on a blue run (!) after a week of doing black and red runs in La Masana.
It was my birthday. The day after we all spent two days in Barcelona where I had to hobble around on the cobbles using crutches. Of course it chose to absolutely slash it down on those two days and I fell on my arse every five minutes.
Glorious.

Went on holiday to Ireland once...
To be fair I had a broken wrist and to have in cast an extra week because we were in O'ireland meant I did the grumpy cat face for 2 weeks as I really wanted to get the ruler out my cast!
Went on a holiday with my mum to a golf course once for a few days and actually played golf in the rain, that was self inflicted nonsense as it was awful.

I would kill a man for aloe vera right now. Everything nearby shuts at 6 so I have had a wet towel on my face all evening. The *****ly heat is a secondary issue to having my face replaced by a piece of parchment stretched over bacon fat.
E: seems the swear filter got a bit over-zealous, but heat rash is what I meant.
I had a shunt on a big waterslide in Tenerife a few years back, I lost my position half way down and kinda rolled the rest of the way down before cracking my head, elbow and knee on the bottom of the plunge pool. Lots of bruises left including my pride meant I was sore for the rest of the week.

Reminds me of when I went down a water slide designed for tubes (lots of bumpy bits to throw up rapids) and fell off the tube. It was like sliding down a huge hairbrush.

Going to go to sleep and hope I don't wake up still looking like sloth from the gooneys.
Went on a 15 night Holiday with 7 Friends in 2007, on the 3rd night I slipped in the shower & split my elbow open & needed stitches & antibiotics. Just over a week later I dislocated my shoulder in the pool.

went to magaluf june 2011, on the second morning went out still half cut wanting to make the most of the sun, didn't put cream on and was in absolute agony and had mild heat stroke (or so I think) for the remaining 3 days... was hallucinating and everything, only going out of bed to go and get trollied!
Done similiar - even total block wouldn't work for me - ruined more than one holiday when I was younger. (Annoying thing is not learning from the first time, 2nd and 3rd time still thinking for some reason you can get away with it).
PS this stuff works brilliantly for me (and about the only one I've found to properly work) Ambre Solaire Clear Protect Sprays Transparent protection Spray SPF50 - you do know about it if you miss a spot tho :S

Not to be funny or owt but i think you may have survived an islamic acid attack on your person but the rain luckily washed it away.

I am confused, is that the before or the after pic?
I assume that's you not swollen, or am I missing something?
Anyway anti-histamines, takes them. Also ibuprofen for antiinflamatory effects.
