Anyone unexpectedly feel down after watching certain films?

Yes, every time I see a superhero film it makes me feel a little depressed at the end that life isn't really like that! :(

Ok that's not what you meant but hey ho!

The Mist.

I just sat there for a few minutes after the credits finished thing what the ****. Had to find something else to watch before I went to bed.

I came into the thread to post the exact same thing.

I remember it so well, my friend lent it to me and on a Sunday night I decided to give it a bash. Got thoroughly engrossed within it and then when it ended I just didn't know what to do or say.

I text him saying three words, "You're a ****".
His reply was, "it's a great ending isn't it"

Brilliant film though

Rambo has a proper emotional punch as well. The end that is.

Yes! A lot of people seem to disagree about it though. I think it's fine closing to the film

Yeah I've watched that as well. It wasn't the same feeling though. After watching the film I've been left wanting more from life. I think it's partially down to having a slight (massive) crush on Emily Blunt and knowing that my chances of finding anyone even remotely like her are very slim rofl :D

Sounds as likely an explanation as any - basically real life stomping on movie-induced life dream?

Chin-up (sorry, the "dash" was unintentional but I left it in for hilarity) though... you will probably end up with someone you find way more desirable anyway :)

The mist, the ending on that made me and granddad burst out laughing.
Eden Lake that actually got me angry against chavs, even more so.

Theres probably some more but I cant think of any at the moment.

I felt pretty down on watching cloud atlas. All the suppressed disappointments in my life came pouring out. Such a sad film in places.

There was this chick flick called 'Closer' with Jude Law and Julia Roberts we got dragged to see. They basically all cheated on each other and were all really sad and lonely. Both me and mate were so bummed out afterwards about relationships and women, and not just because it was awful.

That and when Goose dies, just gets me every time.

Just finished watching this, visually it's very nice, some decent performances but to be fair I just thought came away with the impression it was less of a mess than it could have been, just still a mess.

I disliked the book, but preferred it to the film.
