So the Intel i5-4570 will be the next best gaming cpu?

Tbh there isn't an i5 or i7 from the past couple generations that will hold back gaming.. Haswell seems to be the overclockers / benchers ideal chip.

4930K / 4960X for the enthusiast, any of these ^^ will be fine for gaming..

Is this the next cpu you guys are looking forward to? in regards to gaming?

Or is the difference not much in terms of gaming

For many, yes :)

Personally i'm not interested in upgrading until Skylake. Which, if they don't change the naming convention (which they probably will slightly) would be the i5 6570K/i7 6770K.

I currently have an OC'd 2500K :)

They have already changed the naming ever so slightly for haswell. The Haswell equivalent of the 3570k is the 4670k. The 4570 will have slightly lower clocks and there currently wont be a K version (of the 4570).

For one terrifying moment I thought you meant there won't be ANY K series chips

*phew* :p

By the time Skylake is released they might have mixed up the names even more then... It might not even be called an i5 D:
