Insurance Postcode Lottery

Hmmm interesting, thought it would be lower.

GU24 9BX just looks like your run of the mill overcrowded housing estate?

The whole area is decent on insurance, I've lived in GU24, GU21 and GU1 and don't even consider insurance now before buying a car as the difference between a small hatchback and a 3.4L Porsche is only a few quid.

£250 excess, with my OH (who does drive on the car) on and annual mileage of 8k (Have done 9k in the past 24 months since buying the car).

Do you know which insurance banding the area is in? Must be very low crime etc :)

Cheapest was £529 with the Co-op, bit surprising really, thought our postcode was better than that.

ok first one is my address(East End of Glasgow aka lower Beirut)

in comparison the wife and I have a focus Zetec diesel insured for me and her both 30s with kids and 9 years no claims for £340 a year FC

second one is my old mans, Kinghorn in Fife(sleepy quiet place where he insures a focus ST for sub £200 a year

BT19, one of the nicer areas of Northern Ireland, not bad at all. Just renewed my insurance with M&S, they and the Post office seem to consistently give me the cheapest quotes around.

£399 @ GL20 Postcode.

Always found it to give very good insurance quotes but with the flooding it has gone from an A rated to B.
