Had a couple of failed updates recently on google earth and an icon app. After downloading the update either automatically or manually, I get the same message for both, 'Error: package file is invalid'. Any idea what that's all about?

Nope, I didn't. But there's often crashes or odd things happening. I'll reinstall them see if that helps. 'My Backup' app just auto updated with no problem, so hopefully this issue might just be with these apps.
