**CORSAIR OBSIDIAN 650D OWNERS THREAD** ALL QUESTIONS HERE.

Has anyone used one of these on the 650D ?

Just wondering if it would be ideal to give enough clearance so that the door ridge doesn't get in the way of a 140mm exhaust fan, also it would push the fan further away from the mesh which would be a good thing.

Just wondering how this case does for space with large heatsinks?

Mainly the Coolermaster V8, since I know it's pretty large.

No rush!

Thanks,

- Anthony.

Hi,I was wondering if anyone could tell me if I will have enough space to move the hd bays back to install a 200x200x30mm fan? I have a corsair AX1200 modular ready to go in when my 650d comes tomorrow :D

Why do you need a AX1200?

I dont think you will be able to fit the HD rack over to the side as the AX1200 is too long.

Hey guys, just a quick question. I want to rebuild my current PC into a 650D. The HAF X is too big, loud and ugly for me :(

Am I right in saying that the R4E will fit the 650D with a AX1200 and H100 in push pull config ?

Thanks :)

Hi fellow obsidian owners... :D

Would two of these: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=fg-062-bx fit into the top & front of a 650d?

if they do, would i still need more light (like an led strip) or would they provide adequate lighting for suitable pimping of one's rig? :d

if anyone has these fans, and can provide a photo or two, muchos bonus :)

edit: for referennce, the case comes with these: http://www.corsair.com/pc-cases/corsair-computer-case-accessories/black-200mm-case-fan.html So the spectre'sdo spin a little quiter, with quite an improvemment in cfm, just hoping they will fit :)

Nice one for the info, I may look into replacing my controller maybe after xmas.

Just fitted the two spectre's, fitted in nicely, and my idle(posting this) temps are 4-5 degrees cooler than previous, and that's with the cases fans set to low :)

All round a winning upgrade :)

Hey people. I bought a bitfenix fan for the front but am I correct in saying it can only fit one way as the screws don't reach the holes if it's mounted the otherway.

Only I think it's pushing air out when I would rather it pull air into the case. It's not fast enough for me to tell haha.

The original built in controllers were hit and miss, very weak. Mine failed after a while and wouldn't perform on anything other than the high setting. Luckily Corsair supplied me with another fan controller for free :)

Should fit either way

I know as I mounted my gf's front fan on the wrong way and realised as I was taking pictures lol

Just thought i'd bump this up, ive probably taken my 650D as far as i realistically can, anyone else think similar.

Ive done the front honeycomb mesh cut out, ive also cut out the noughts and crosses board from the front Corsair filter, uprated all the fans, changed the rear pci slots to finer mesh ones, added demciflex fan filters, upgraded the power LED light to blue instead of white.

Not a lot else you can do really, i wouldn't hesitate in recommending this case to anyone like most other owners would, its so flexible as to what you can do with it.

What 200mm fans do people recommend for the top and front? Am after something to replace my failing fans, but I want something just as quiet (or quieter) with the same (or more) airflow.

I should also add I don't want LED fans.
