Is this a fair price?

I got a clutch kit for my girlfriends fiesta 1.4 zetec last month and that was £250, so yeah seems a good price to me.

Well i replaced my Honda Civic clutch almost a month ago. And it cost me £255 in total, that included 3.5 hours labour charge.

Shock as Honda clutch may or may not be the same price as a Ford clutch.

In other breaking news, it has been discovered today that rain is wet! :p

You don't think £250 is very expensive for a clutch on a Fiesta? Honda are meant to be the ones with expensive parts!

My point is that comparing expenses for different marques, let alone models, is totally pointless. Some 'premium' cars will have very cheap costs for, e.g., a cam belt due to perhaps plenty of space in the engine bay (before even covering things like a Jaguar belt potentially being a Ford part, or similar) whereas budget marques may have terrible access and far higher costs.

Which fiesta? My gfs 1.4 cost £150, hers was the 03 plate 1.4 so the more expensive clutch too. That seems expensive.
