amazing tbh. no idea why but I never realised motor transport was so popular back then. I always thought it was a 50's onwards thing
 
So surreal. It makes you wonder how people in 100 years from now will react when they see footage from our time.

It's a fantastic piece called 'Comptine d'un autre ete : L'apres midi' (Nursery rhyme of another summer: The Afternoon) by Yann Tiersen, it was used in the movie Amélie, a fantastic film if you haven't yet seen it.

You'll probably love this as well, 'La plage' also by Yann Teirsen.

Brought a tear to my eye thinking of my gran who died last year. She would have been 15 when this was filmed and living in London. Thanks for the link!

If you're musically inclined it's not too difficult to play either. Always goes down well. :)
