what stores can I buy already loaded, pre-paid debit cards

Does anyone know were I can buy pre-paid cards from, what stores sell them and is a set amount already on them and can I buy them with cash. Also what is the minimum age to buy them?

I ordered mine online from virgin, top it up either in the shops or via bank transfer.

I have no credit card, so I was hoping to go into a store with cash and have it already topped up.

Go to any shop with PayPoint etc. and order a 3v voucher, specify that it's 3v not 3G though, otherwise you'll end up with a mobile voucher

then activate online. Link explains it.

anonymity from the OPs stantpoint. OP doesn't want to be traced for XYZ reasons

In short: Within the UK you maintain a paper trail of some kind, whatever guides etc you've been reading are targeted at yanks where they can purchase a pre-paid within target/walgreens/walmart without any id or linkage to them.
