I can't joke about something like this.

I don't think anyone doubts the severity of this. I was simply making light of it. As I said in the OP, it's evidently the right way forward for her. She's a beautiful woman though, which some portion of her success is due to.

Yeah hell of a decision, as even if she did develope breast cancer a high percentage of women survive and she would have been screened very regularly.

A brave decision especially to go public given who she is and the intense media speculation there will be.

My big concern is that her world will be full of paparazzi idiots trying to get a shot of the new breasts instead of just realising that she is a person that has just gone through a major emotional and physical upset.

**** me thats brave, having an aunt that died from cancer spread from initially having breast cancer (died from throat cancer in the end) I can understand why she did it - even with that family history I doubt I would have had the balls, too easy to be the optimist and 'ignore' the problem.

While certainly her best days are behind her (earily 2000's) she still a classy lady (Her only bad move is those tattoos . Brave move and i hope for the best for her.

And I've recently had a scare with possible bowel cancer
