Does anyone work as an agent for any live artists or DJs? Would appreciate some advice on how much I might pay for an artist such as Fred V Grafix or SBTRKT etc... to perform one night at an event.

For hire fees you're probably best contacting the relevant artist's promoter or management with your event details as they can vary greatly.

My background is arena/theatre events, so it might be a different booking procedure for DJs.
 
I run a management company, however that's for alternative music.

I can say, you would be paying a lot. An example I have to hand, through a friend:
Benga - 1 hour set - 3k plus VAT & Riders.

The problem with that is, the Agent/Manager will want YOU to tell them a price usually. Plus to book big names, you must have a lot of experience in promotions.
