Hi guys,

i'm mRibti and am A New Member here at Overclockers and this is my mobo

ECS RC415ST-PM... there is not much info about it on the net and i want to know if it is possible to be able to tweak it .. like overclocking and stuff.

apparently it comes out of a packard bell bv 555 Unit... theres no info about this mobo on their website either

Even the provider(ECS) does nt list it on their website...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/310507639819?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

This is a link that gives some specs about it ...

At the moment am using it with:

CPU: Intel DUAL CORE 915 2.8GHz/4M
Ram: 2GB DDR2 667

i was on a forum recently and some1 said they managed to use 4gb ram with it even if it suppports 2gb ... weird but very good.. but i lost the url...:(

i Want to have some ideas, ANY ideas how i can push this mobo to the limit

Thanks
mRbti

Wow You want to overclock a Dinosaur, dont really see any point . Bin it and upgrade

Bit harsh :D I've overclocked more dinosaurs than new PC's. It's good practice for not a lot of cost. But I agree it's not worth spending money on just time.

I suspect that packard bell have made it difficult if it has a customised bios. you may not be able to even flash a newer one if they do not provide a utility.

The obvious way is to alter the bus clock upwards however this may have been 'fixed' in the bios.

Can you get into the bios and provide some pics.

OP remove the link to the auction site, against forum rules.
