Nice core clock speeds, but £420 for a 7970 just a few weeks before NVidia's gimped-Titan arrives is asking for a lot of loyalty from AMD fans.

If its a promotion AMD are doing, then of course you just claim it of them.

Could be, but no price is final until launch day. Sometimes the price of a new item can literally change 1 minute before it launches. AMD/NVIDIA love to play games with each other and us lot get caught in the middle.
