So after speaking to John at OCUK, i decided to get myself the V8 watercooling kit from OCUK.

This will be my first attempt at watercooling a build without using an all in one i.e. antec 920.

Looking forward to seeing the results on my new 3570k!

Keep us updated and make sure you keep a build log. What are the full specs and case you are using?

I am hopefully going to be starting on my first watercooled rig this weekend, don't think I've been this excited in ages. Using similar kit to you so will be interesting to see how yours goes.

Good luck

Put the specs in my general hardware thread but here they are again.

Corsair C70 Military green case(bloody gorgeous case if you ask me!)
Asus Z77 Sabertooth
I5 3570k
8gb geil evo corsa 2133mhz memory
HIS ICEQ Boost 7950
256gb Samsung 840 pro SSD
1tb western digital cav hdd
2tb samsung hdd
samsung DVD-R
Asus Xonar 5.1 DS
XFX 650W modular PSU

Using a OCUK V8 watercooling kit.

Make sure you got the correct pinned fans for youre board i bought the V8 and it came with 3 pin ones instead of 4 so im stuck with one on full whack all the time till i can buy the wright bit to fix it (which you really shouldnt have to do with a new purchase)

The 3 pin fans can be controlled by a fan controller. 4 pin pwm can be controlled by the motherboard. It is npt ocuks fault that you did not check this id always buy a fan controller for a water cooled loop

In fairness this bit sort of made it sound like you were, a bit. To me anyway.

Also, good luck OP, as mentioned, just take your time and you should be fine.

well that is the thing with text you read it the way you want to.

I made the mistake ill live with i hope your loop is up and running and your rocking the OC's AllyH

Sorry for not replying in a while been busy having fun with the comp! All setup and working fantastically now, great system and looks awesome too. The watercooling is keeping the chip at a very nice 26c on idle, and at 55c-58c underload.

It's running a lot smoother than the A10 ever did and the onboard sound ain't too bad, couldnt get the xonar 5.1 to fit on though!
