New Card recommendations.. £150 budget.

Hi, I have had to return my second VTX 7850 2GBas it has yet again packed up, thankfully I got a full refund, however I need a decent replacement.

Has anyone got any recommendations. I generally use the pc for basic 3D gaming and 3D software development. So I'd rather get something a bit cooler and quieter than a power hungry beast.

Any recommendations?

Have a look at the Nvidia GTX 660, you can pick one of these up for less than £150

Or failing that have a look on MM as you have the posts for it

I assume you have paid for the TriDef already? If so, it would pay you to stay with AMD, as you would need to purchase the 3DVision kit from Nvidia which isn't cheap.

If you wait a few weeks, you could probably pick up a GTX 760 for same price as GTX 660 . Or their might be price drops on 6XX cards by then..

If you don't want to wait, a 650ti Boost is on par with a 7850.
