looking for input, for me its the aqua blue thats coming out, thats what my money is on, what about anyone else? i quite like the black and gold anniversary edition but I want to step away from the standard black colour scheme. Going for a blue theme in my rig :)
 
Aqua blue with black meshed front panel for better airflow.
Sexy.
They do a red and orange one like that, but not a blue...have to get the front panel separate.

The front panel is the normal black meshed panel which comes on the original black prodigy with a mesh and dust filter.
This is essentially what I would want, but blue instead of red.

You can buy the meshed front panel separate and they can be put onto any prodigy case. Thus increasing airflow due to mesh instead of a solid panel with small vents in the side.
But ofc you have to buy them separate if you wish to use them on solid front panel prodigys.
Since the blue/black isn't available (yet, sure its coming at some point since we already have some of them) you have to pay more to get better airflow.

so are they going to release a full aqua one with the mesh panel? just, i dont really want a full black panel, its a good fairly cheap work around for now, but if im honest id prefer all blue! thanks for this!

You mean with a aqua front panel mesh? I doubt it, they have no color apart from black for the mesh so far, but hey you never know...
The airflow is defiantly restricted and your temperatures would go up abit because your intake can't pull in as much air but not enough to worry about it though tbh as long as the air is getting exhausted well, no issues.
I just personally would need to have mesh in the front of my prodigy as I like having strong intake.

I would have got a prodigy if I didn't need to buy a new mobo as-well (a very expensive one at that..the asus deluxe thing, jeez, hell no at that price lol)

Looks like we are on the same wave length here! Im getting that exact same board, hopefully as early as saturday, basically once my 3930k rig sells.
worst case scenario its main payday from my apprenticeship, ill be getting the board ordered, and the case, just whenever i can really, but latest will be the 30th or so.
 
And as for the case, is the front panel just snap on? wondering how easy itll be to put on, and whether i can chop and change as/when i like.
 
Yeh it's just snap on (you have to remove both side panels though and you just pop the sides of the front out and it just falls out, really simple) and yeh you can change when ever you want.

Nah I'm not doing a prodigy build, I want too, but I don't want to buy the motherboard as-well. Bought a FD Midi R2 the other week, very happy with it :P
 
Oh fair one. Im only going M-ITX as I am a bit sick of having so much room for a rig taken up, im never going SLI and Im only running 1 SSD, 1 HDD, optic drive, 1 gpu, and im not clocking to 5ghz either.
So M-ITX it is for me.
 
I hope they announce a mesh fronted blue case soon mind!
Still, definitely going for the blue, going to go for a football themed build, Im a massive Rangers fan so the blue will go nicely, and I want to get the Rangers crest stencilled and painted on the side :)

Going by the pole, turns out I was wrong. Seems like people do like the green :-)
If I was in the market for a Prodigy this second, I'd get the orange.. But if the Green was currently available, I'd have that all day long..
