*** League of Legends ***

Lack of communication meant I had to play Trundle mid last night, actually smashed Diana which was funny, she tried to engage at level 2 and in 2 hits she was under half HP.

I love the changes they did to Trundle, he was one of my go to champs and now he is just amazing and imo very viable. Also there are certain times/situations that you can pillar and literally trap the enemy for the duration.

Yeah he's really strong, although when i first played him i sucked, people that are good with him and know how to build him destroy there opponent.

Yeah i got pillared like that once, got pinned up against and couldn't move (luckily i could flash away) but it's really effective if you can pull it off.

So im back in my promo series to silver, won the first two games, just need to win one more out of the remaining three.

Then hopefully i can progress through silver, my main aim is to get to gold this season, if i get any higher that'd be good.

good luck I hoped I coul dget to gold too but it's harder than i thought. Silver is a special place seems to be a lot of people around the 1100-1300 ELO range so it's a bit up and down but don't lose faith!

Good luck mate.

I'm just so gutted I was gold but quit for a few months and dropped to Silver 2 -.-

My freind really loves counter jungling, he always tries to gank the enemy jungler when they are taking blue or red, so it puts them behind and he can gank a bit easier.

I don't know if people are interested but we really wanna play some 5's so i was hoping to organise one or two nights a week where some of us can join up and play just some random scrims to help give others experience and just for fun.

Let me know if people are interested and i'll try organise something.

I'm up for this, what a difference when you actually play with folk. Don't get to play with others much but when i do its far better than soloing.

You can't drop from higher leagues due to lack of play.
I dropped from 1500 + (gold) ELO to around 1450-1490 elo about a week before they introduced the new system, then was put in silver 1, then didn't play for ages and was then put in silver 2 -.-

After watching quite a bit on twitch.tv I've decided to give it another blast after an 18 month break, but I thought this now had ranked leagues like Starcraft 2? As in Diamond, Gold leagues etc?

They do but it still uses the underlying elo todo the matchmakine - all very confusing and personally I wish they had used the sc system

The system is pretty much the SC2 system... In SC2, you play people dependent on your MMR (match making rating, which is hidden - just like ELO). Your MMR goes up/down dependent on your wins and the opponent's MMR... The only big difference is that in SC2, when your MMR is high enough, you get promoted, whereas in LoL, when your MMR is high, you get more league points per win, which makes it easier for you to get a promotion series, so your league lags behind your MMR slightly more than in SC2... Still though, it's basically the same system with a slightly bigger lag between ELO/MMR and your league
