Mallory Park - Practical Performance Cars

Not going to clog up the daily encounters thread so here is a photo dump from today at Mallory Park race track.

Some really interesting metal there, loved the old MG, Morgan, TVR, Skyline etc. And some not so great. There was something for everyone.

Overall, worth the trip out and good fun for a couple of hours.

This was one of those newly built MG's, which I think Tiff Needell tested on TV not so long ago.

Pat van was back again, I normally see it at York raceway doing drag runs.

Not sure what this is...

I don't even know what this is called, some sort of gyro lawnmower powered thing.

Not sure what this is either.

This was a mint original example of a MX5.

Morgan did surprisingly well at keeping up and overtaking stuff!

One for the hairdressers on this forum...

God knows what the hell this is like to ride on... :eek:

That Patvan thing is hilarious, and that pulse jet powered pushbike....lunacy of the highest order, I approve

Some nice metal generally, some of the jap stuff is slightly dubious but looks a good mix of vehicles

The white Skyline was just immaculate inside and out. Kudos to the owner for keeping it in such good condition. Don't think I'd track something so nice, same goes for cars like the Morgan.

The white car with JDM plate is an S15 Silvia.

Also, that yellow Reliant Kitten is from my local town and runs a turbo'd Cosworth engine

Yep, think I've seen you post a photo of it before. Seen him at york too, under 12 seconds 1/4 if I remember correctly. :eek:

Don't take it so personally! - you mentioned fail initially....

Your check shows a Subaru, mine,shows an RS200 somebody's wrong here, but yeah, plenty of fakes around.
