Girl hits cyclist then jokes about it on Twitter.

I'm fed up with cyclists and i don't even drive!! There moral supiorty is enough to ban them from the roads. They don't pay road tax, they reckless and when they get into an accident is automatically the drivers fault. If you saw how they act in central London you'd agree with me.

A cycle is simply a flimsy connection of hollow metal rods, a car is usually a tonne monstrosity and you want equality in law over it, no...just no.

I have to admit, i cycle to and from uni myself, but i honestly hate cyclists. I'd like to think I'm reasonable on the road, but i see some people and their arrogance just astounds me.

She's a complete moron and deserves to be spoken to and the appropriate action taken by by the police against her.

However I find it a disturbing trend the witch hunts that quickly now happen on te Internet contacting her employee etc. it's vigilantism in the modern day and a very worrying trend that will need to be clamped down upon at some point. People go out of their way to ruin someone's life behind the anonymity of the Internet under the heading of "good cause" where as in fact it's just as spiteful and hateful as the trolls and Internet abusers out there.

The only thing that differentiates this from our weekly cyclists versus normal people threads is that we have a lukewarm chick (yay!), Reddit (boo!), a hurt cyclist (yay/boo, delete as appropriate) and police involvement.

It's like every bad cyclist thread we have here but with all of the things that those threads miss so I endorse this thread as 5 star quality in the making.

e : it's already begun. GD, you never fail to disappoint :D

To some extent i agree, but she has broken the law multiple times here.

There are good and bad cyclists, much like there are good and bad drivers.

Moral superiority?

Most cyclists I know do it for fitness and to get to work.

There should be equality. It shouldn't always be the drivers fault. The bikers are just as fallible as the drivers.

I'm alsoabit confused about the work thing, own time, personal twitter, own car (presumably).
But then again as soon as the employees name is mentioned, it's bringing the name of the employer into disrepute.

He's she been arrested yet?

So that makes it right for people to hunt down her employer and potentially ruin her life and career and then glory about it on the net?

Surely she initiated that by posting about it on Twitter? I don't condone the vigilantism, it should always be dealt with by the authorities.
