Hey guys, I've been a long time reader/lurker here. Unfortunately it's on a rather sour note I'm writing my first thread.

Here's the story: I've had a 12GB kit of Corsair Vengeance RAM that had been faulty for a while; one of the sticks was playing up and wasn't being detected. In hindsight it wasn't much of a pain because the system was still stable, I just had 8GB to work with instead.

Since I saw they had the lifetime warranty, I thought it'd be worth sending it for an RMA so I could have a fully working kit. I was a bit grumpy at having to pay just shy of £15 to send it to the Netherlands, but I figured I'd had two years' worth of use out of them so I may as well just do it.

After a while I thought it'd been taking a pretty long time (this was about a couple of weeks after I'd originally sent the faulty RAM back to them). I checked the ticket, and looked up the tracking info of the replacement.

According to UPS, they'd already delivered it! I was pretty sure I hadn't signed for them so I checked with the missus, and she hadn't seen anything either. I contacted UPS and they were about at useful as a chocolate teapot, said there wasn't anything they could do unless the sender of the parcel contacts them (which seems pretty ridiculous to me). I've tried contacting Corsair but they've gone silent too, not had a reply from them in about a week and a half.

Long story short, UPS delivery driver has either nicked my parcel or just given it to some random person. Corsair customer support seem to have dropped off the face of the earth. Does anybody have any advice/suggestions for me? I've tried making a couple of tickets through Corsair's support system but I'm struggling to find any alternative way of contacting them (there's been no response to the tickets).

I'm pretty gutted that I've gone from having a mostly-working system to having none, and paying for the privilege!

Appreciate any help/advice you can give.

The skype customer service number is free to phone and they are not bad on the phone when you need to deal with them.

Send an email to the Ram Guy ( [email protected] ) with all the relevant details.

Last time I requested a replacement PSU cable from corsair I just emailed this guys with the details and he sorted it, although it takes about 2 weeks for the replacement to arrived.

i think ur find ur stuffed,as long as ups have a sig they r covered(once had a issue) depends on if u can appeal to corsairs better nature, but due to their poor customer service (and products)i wont buy corsair again.if id know when purchasing id have to be sending stuff to netherlands i wouldnt have bothered in the first place!

Give Corsair a call, as said above if you use Skype then the call is free, don't forgot to take the time difference into account so call them after 4:00 pm else the lines will be closed.

In the first instance I would ask them to get a copy of the signature and also confirm that the address they have for you is correct.

I've just RMA'ed a PSU and according to UPS it's in Watford for delivery today, here's hoping that the UPS guys gets it to my house safely.

Kind of weird to hear that a tracked package got delivered but in fact you never received it...

Though my Corsair shopping spree of the past years has now ended since I also recently had to pay £35 to send a faulty PSU to them.

Well the worst part is that I requested the signature that UPS got, and someone has signed for it using my name (not my actual signature though). So someone's just taken a glance at the name on the package and scrawled whatever.

The main reason I was suspicious was because according to the tracking they'd attempted to deliver it the day before the supposed 'successful' delivery, but there was no answer. I would have been at work, but there was no indication left that they'd attempted delivery, and they even had my mobile number.

I didn't know the trick about using Skype for toll-free US numbers. Good to know!

Realistically, I know it's not actually any wrongdoing on Corsair's part. Still, it's pretty scary that you can't trust a courier to deliver something to you even when it's tracked and signed for.

The problem here is that since time has passed the courier driver may or may not remember where he/she actually delivered to.

I had something similar a few years ago, I was monitoring progress and then the status changed to Delivered so I contacted the courier company and they contacted the driver who then rang me, turned out he'd delivered the package 5 doors away but he remember who and where it was.

I did give UPS a ring as soon as I noticed, but they were less than helpful unfortunately. It was very much "we've delivered it, not our problem any more". The people I spoke to were nice, just not actually able to help me.

Definitely will be steering clear of places that use them in future.

I had a couple of issues when my new PSU fan was making horrible noises.
They said I had to send it to them, but I managed to make them pay for the delivery.
They took 2-3days after they received it to reply back to my RMA.
