Coffee (my choice of caffeine intake) rules. Can't get enough of it. However, I think stuff like Red Bull etc is probably bad for you. Mostly because of the sugar and other crap that is in them rather than the caffeine.

Don't need it, You have google or books (Ultramind solution best one), because if people can't research things for themselves generally they won't have the willpower to change their behaviour either.

Try it for 30 days. If you can't manage that, well then...

I found when I was drinking 5-6 cups of coffee in the office I was plauged by massive migraines at the weekends. I think this was due to going cold turkey over the weekend. Anyway since cutting down the coffee to 2 a day I am much better and find that I actually have more energy. The myth that caffeine gives you energy is wrong it just stops you sleeping properly.

So try cutting down the cups per day a little at a time I think you will be presently surprised by the results. I never got rid of coffee altogether as I just like it too much!

I drink weak coffee and its mellow birds. My mates say its warm milk with a dash of coffee. But it means i can drink 6-7 cups a day without feeling rough.

Although I need to cut out the sugar.

Same I really used to love fresh ground coffee it tastes amazing, was HUGEEEE fan of it. I still love it now but I just stay away from it.

I'm amazed by how little caffeine people drink. I will have a cup of tea (sometimes treat myself to a coffee) roughly every hour during the day, especially if I'm in the office at work. Apart from ****ing a lot, I haven't noticed any ill effects. Meh, must mean I'm well 'ard

I found the biggest thing for me was when I didn't drink the coffee at the weekend then I was effectively going cold turkey and that when I got the headaches, I imagine if I made lots of coffee at the weekend it wouldn't have been so bad.

You notice more when you stop, as it just becomes a normal feeling when you're doing it day in day out.

Well I don't drink that much on a weekend for instance last weekend I had one cup of tea and no headaches. Perhaps going a week without caffeine and I'll get headaches

I don't think I drink too much coffee (3 or 4 a day maybe) but when I don't drink coffee in the morning I start to get headaches. Now I'm not sure if this is through lack of caffeine OR due to dehydration (contradictory I know) as if I don't have a coffee I don't have a drink full stop. :/

I can drink up to 20 cans of redbull a day np.

On a night out I will happily(ish) drink dbl vodka and redbull however the day after I have heart palpitations and feel super shakey to the point where I get quite scared :( needless to say I switched to diet coke and don't wake up with the shakes or palpitations!

I can't deal with energy drinks in large quantities (unless it comes with vodka or jager of course) as I can with tea/coffee. After a couple of cans of relentless or monster I get hear palpitations. Once driving home after a loooooooong day at work I nearly had to pull over as I thought I was on the verge of having a heart attack  I then manned up and carried on home :p

Why should I need to cut out coffee for thirty days? What does that achieve for me? Other than missing out on enjoying the coffee (I don't like the taste of decaf) and suffering caffeine withdrawal?

Not one person has posted evidence that caffeine is bad for you.
