Try something like a Racing Ralph, it's not too nobbly, I've used it on the road and it's ok, you'll not find a decent tyre that'll do both off/onroad as pretty much all tyres that give little rolling resistance are going to be rubbish offroad.

Off topic , but can i ask if your name is after the irish tale? i presume so?

I need some Saracen Zen in my life! I think it might be the most beautiful Hardtail I've ever seen!

Just a shame I've got no pennies. :(

I was giving the bike a good clean after a race last weekend. (cube elite hpc pro)

Nice crack through both of the chainstays :(

I should have taken a picture before bringing it back to the shop. Hopefully warrenty will sort me out, although im not holding out.

Cube warranty help.....ha ha ha ha ha ha

My mate was without a bike for 7 months waiting for cube warranty

Too many companies take the **** with warranties. Did a frame swap for a guy and still waiting on the replacement coming from the distributor.

Think its been two months so far when i was promised a 2 week turnaround.

SOrry, last night I got drunk because I was excited and wanted to make sure I can sleep (didnty work) ... now now I got ****ed while building.

Crappy phone pic at night though, but will go take some nice bokeh shots tomorrow :)
It's in the steep / low geometry setting:

36.5 exactly, with steel spring and wheels containing 5 cups of stans to get the fckers to seal properly.

PS: Yes the chaindevice is gonna be changed and I need a new seatpost. The current one is 27.something with a shim in it. The shim compresses too much, so I dont want to stress the carbon too much, when tightening the seatclamp.

Very nice bike... Black chain guide and that'll be perfect. I have a thing for all black bikes at the moment, perhaps it's because I'm getting old and boring? :D

You went for a large right, It'll be interesting to see how you get on with it as I'm a similar height to yourself and I'm considering going for a Large frame next time around? Not quite sure what frame it'll be yet though... ;)

Went for a ride around my local trails, and found this.

Used to be a nice dirt/root track. Fireroad is one thing but this is better than 99% of our roads.

Yes, but it used to be good fun, little brick walls to drop off and root sections, waterbars, slabs of concrete. Now it might as well be a road.

Will have to find a new way around, to the left are some great steep drops so will just have to make better use of them.
