Just won my hardest 3v3 pub game. Me and two guys. Never played as a threesome before but we went in as Vayne, Morde (me), Yorick. Vs Poppy, Cho, Nidalee. Ended up winning in the end but poppy was a nightmare come the end. Having checked their history. They are ranked Gold II in 3v3. So we are really pleased with this victory. No doubt they were using headsets too, we only had the pings and keyboard to communicate. Last around 40 minutes. Team work = win at the end of the day. Granted you have to know how to build your champ too. Looking at what they buy. But wow. I bet they were surprised with that defeat.

Poppy was Gtrl incubus,

Oh yeah guys forgot to say, i managed to win my promo matches to silver.

So far out of the 3 games ive played in silver i've won 2 and lost 1, getting 31LP for a win and -19 for a loss, so hopefully i can get higher.

Only experienced one idiot so far, and he was in gold V, typing in chat " You are all silver noobs im gold and i know whats best ". He was playing AP Yi top lane... got utterly destroyed. Rest of my team mates this far have been great.
 
Please,Please,Please Riot, remove Duo Queue.
Twice today we had a duo queue who trolled because they didnt get the lanes they wanted and went afk, leaving 3-5.
 
In promotion to Silver IV after a couple of games... getting like 30lp for a win. Not bad. Gonna play them tomorrow and hopefully get promoted.

Not really, its a burden and a curse, never - ever - won a game with a duo queue in it.

Take last game as an example, Top has Jax who is dominating Udyr from the start, their mid and jungler is just camping him for free kills pretty much.
I (jungle) try to help but just end up getting killed over and over with him.
Mean while, the duo queue bot are just completely obilivious to the fact we are permanently 5v2/3 in top and mid and farm bot for like 15 mins without even pushing, then wonder why we lose.
 
I don't understand that scenario are you saying the opposition's duo was permanently top and you didn't take advantage of the xp gain.what they did wasn't necessarily wrong but hard to know without watching the game.

What basically happened is, we got ran over on top (4v2/3 initially, then 5v3) whilst out bot sat in lane farming without even trying to take turrets.
We ended up feeding like crazy and losing the inhib pretty quickly, whilst they still sat bot.
By the time they decided teamfighting might be on the cards, the ADC had like 1 kill and 200 farm, while the enemy top had like 170 farm and 9 + kills, along with 5+ kills on everyone else, so we got spanked in every team fight.

All they had to do was make it 5v5 at top after it became obvious that the enemy was just going to pressure top every single time, eventually they would change tactic but no >:(

Just after I wrote that I had a game with a duo queue and the EXACT same thing happened to me, but my top was Jax vs Shen, they took mid tower, all 5 of them, and our bottom duo just sat farming...

Is it worth duo queuing? My friend is in Silver 4 and he mains AD, I can play support well (used to main it)

Duo queuing is always worth it because you reduce the number of randoms from 4 to 3 :)

However you need to make sure that you or your duo partner is versatile so if they want ad or support you can do another role.If all you both can do is ad and support then it won't work
 
Bah always so many trolls, how do people get out of bronze ? just purely by playing so many games ?

I always try to play top if i can should i play any lane if i need to carry my team better ?
 
Man if I lose LP for this I'm going to be so mad...
I join a ranked; firstly I call jungle and everybody else calls their roles. Baring in mind I don't even own Amumu, the first pick because he didn't ban him decides to instalock him and asks for Lux from me, when he never even asked, and I don't own either of the two champions. So then we ended up having to use Mumu top, which is probably awful (they picked Darius for top). So I think, d/w we can still win this, we have a premade bot and players that look fairly decent. During the loading screen the game freezes for me, so as you do I opened up task manager and ended all of the tasks, and reconnected to the game. This time, I get in; but there is no champions on the map. Literally just the map in FoW. Now when I'm trying to log in I get the connection failure error...
