*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S4 Thread ***

I'm indecisive mate that is all ;)

Join the club :(

Lets face it, we'll both diddle daddle till they run out of stock and prices go back up!

Add me to the list as well! I've been hovering over the buy button since preorders came out. It's just that I've got the S3 at the moment, so can I really justify £300 to change to the S4?

Might just treat myself to it as a graduation present. That's acceptable, right? :D

Of course it is! I never got myself a graduation present so mine is a year overdue ;)

This is my concern mate :) I desperately want to get out of the i ecosystem though!

Yep, I just fancy a change too, had my ip4 for 2 1/2 years, really love the phone but the itunes dependancy and other things just screws me around, no customisation etc..! IOS just feels more suited to my ipad than my phone, its a perfect tablet OS!

The part that pushed me over the egde was trying to sync the ipad of a guy I know's pictures to his ipad, remotely, not fun, and every damn sync unsynced the last folder!! :(

I don't think anyone has said it starts playing music. It runs a process in the back ground, despite never being used. Hold down your home button, tap the bottom left icon (looks like a pie chart) and see if Google Music is listed there.

yes, the process starts at bootup. zoomee said the process starts each time he turns the screen on. as i replied to him; mine does not do this. If I kill the process, it stays dead until i either use google play music or reboot the phone. the process is inactive when im not using play music anyway so im not bothered by it.

it's worth noting that people have reported that other apps can start the process so it might be something zoomee has installed. maybe.

Dude I bow down, I've had this happen a few times and just felt bad, with the ammo you gave us in the above wisdom, you're like the guy who came to our village and taught us to fish!!!!

Glad to help! :D:D:D

As for battery, I saw someone wasn't too happy with theirs a few posts back. To be honest I've found the battery life great, and I'm coming from a Note 2. I get about 7 hours of screen time with normal usage of whatsapp/browsing/media/games, although I am running Wanamlite + Adam Kernel so there is better battery life compared to stock rom.

I have a big problem with my GS4, the USB slot doesn't seem to want to work. It not charge when plugged in to the mains either.

Anyone have any idea's why?
